Matt Wilson is an entertainer, songwriter, and author who first gained national recognition as the Piano Man in the First National Tour of the Billy Joel and Twyla Tharp Tony-winning musical Movin’ Out and was honored by the Texas State Senate in 2005 for his achievements in Fine Arts. Matt has performed in renowned piano bars, venues, and theaters nationwide, including iconic locations such as Disney World, Bourbon Street in New Orleans, and Austin's famed 6th Street.

In 2021, Matt released his book, Hooks: Lessons on Performance, Business, and Life from a Working Musician, and launched his podcast, On The Hook with Matt Wilson, available on most podcast platforms.

Matt continues to perform, headlining public, private, and social events of all size,s and weekly at the Flamingo Room in St. Augustine, FL. Matt's Piano Show was voted as one of St. Johns County’s favorite bands in the Best of 2025 issue of St. Johns Life and Style Magazine.
